Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd are Hull City Council's delivery partner and are looking to recruit a Project Officer to lead the exciting delivery of the Football Foundation's Active Through Football five-year programme.

The programme aims to increase activity levels and create sustained behaviour change through a Place-based approach.

Hull City Council are the lead organisation, on behalf of a consortium of partners working together to deliver a targeted plan that aims to tackle inequalities, delivering a high-quality programme of formal and informal football and recreation opportunities across three main areas of the city.


You will co-ordinate, plan and monitor football and recreational activities working in collaboration with the Football Foundation and Sport England providing regular updates on progress, managing relationships with stakeholders, and developing new local relationships with community groups, organisations, and service users, to ensure sustainability of the programme.


The programme, in collaboration with other delivery partners including the Tigers Trust, will be focused to increase and sustain participation levels within the 16-19 year age group and diverse ethnic communities within Hull.


By identifying and working with key target audiences, who face some of the greatest inequalities to being physically active, the Active Through Football programme will increase activity levels and create sustained behaviour change in our communities.
