Staff365 are recruiting for Rope Access Operatives on a permanent basis for our new Engineering client located in Worksop, S81.


We have permanent vacancies on a fixed Days shift pattern:
Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 + overtime


Pay rate:
£16.08-£19.43 per hour DOE

Our Client is seeking dedicated and skilled Rope Access Operatives to join our team. They provide services to various sites across the UK, offering a wide range of exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to thrive and contribute to our successful and vibrant team.


As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including new-builds, maintenance, and overhaul work.

Our projects encompass diverse industries such as Power Stations, Waste Recovery, Building Products Manufacture, and Quarrying. Working away is an expectation of this job role.


You will be responsible for:

Utilizing your experience in medium to heavy engineering work.

Reading and interpreting engineering General Arrangements (GAs) and detailed drawings.

Installing Steelwork and ducting and the installation and maintenance of equipment, including conveyors and ash handling systems.

Adhering to the highest safety standards throughout all tasks.

Working with other tradespeople and contributing to tasks within your skill set.


Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in medium to heavy engineering work.

Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering GAs and detailed drawings.

Strong knowledge of installing and maintaining equipment, including conveyors and ash handling systems.

Ability to conduct installations of new equipment and perform repairs on existing machinery.

Commitment to upholding the highest safety standards.

Familiarity with plant operations, such as MEWP, Loadall, Slinger banksman, and PASMA, is advantageous (training can be provided).

Must hold IRATA Certification for relevant level

Rates dependant on experience.


Licence/Certification:

CSCS (preferred)

IRATA (preferred)
