As Transport Shift Manager you will be directly reporting into the Transport Manager with 2 Shift Manager and a team of 45 drivers reporting into you.

The role is a very people management focused role and will be essential that you have good management skills.

Description
As Transport Shift Manager you will be reporting directly into the Transport Manager as well as being part of a team of 2 Team Leaders as well as x45 drivers, additional responsibilities include:

Effectively manage transport team and ensure processes are effective
Ensure any operational costs are fully managed in accordance with the Transport Logistics Managers directive
To ensure all compliance documentation and standards are to a high standard
Provide or arrange relevant training to team members to ensure compliance as well as development
Continually review ways of improving the operations in all areas, generating new ideas and actively implementing and promoting change
