My client are a well established freight forwarder looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their successful team You must have a minimum 5 years experience selling international road freight services.

Daily duties will include:


Daily duties will include:


  • Gaining new business nationally and internationally to promote and develop client portfolio
  • Cold calling prospective customers
  • Generating new sales leads and revenue
  • Client meetings
  • Building and developing relationships with clients
  • Meeting targets
  • Liaising with operations team

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years experience selling international road freight
  • Freight forwarding and warehouse 3PL background
  • Proven track record of sales figures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Product knowledge of different trade lanes and services within the freight forwarding market
