About the Role:


_12-month fixed term contract (parental leave cover) starting from January 2023._


The Student Success Progression Team Leader manages the activities of a team of Student Success Progression Advisors to achieve student enrolment and satisfaction targets.

They must inspire the trust and respect of the team, and in turn stimulate high productivity in both the achievement of our outbound proactive calling of students and our delivery of high-quality support and guidance.


Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily, they will be the contact point for all team members with excellent communication skills, and able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

To be successful, you will have the following skills and experiences

Essential:


  • Proven work experience as a team leader, or supervisor in a team
  • Solid experience in managing high performance sales campaigns in an outbound call centre environment
  • Experience in Customer Service and/or Account Management in B2C or B2B environments where retention is the key performance indicator
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Excellent decisionmaking skills
  • Experience onboarding new team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with people from a diverse range of cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds

Preferable:


  • Experience in student services/education liaison/student support/distance learners support/working in an education sector
  • Experience hiring or recruiting new team members
  • Higher Education experience and/or Knowledge of the Australian Higher Education sector
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
