Are you a recent Graduate or seeking experience to work in a school with children? Protocol Education are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to work in a Secondary School in the NE3 area (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom).

The school prides itself on offering structure, support and opportunity for each student, irrespective of background or disadvantage.


Your role will consist of working with and supporting children with Special Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and some with challenging behaviours, providing 1:1 and group in-class support.

You do not need any qualifications for this role, just a passion for helping others.

You
must be available to work Monday

  • Friday (Fulltime) and
    will need an Enhanced DBS/ be willing to obtain one.
We have roles available immediately (pending clearance) up until July 2023.

The successful applicant will:


  • Hold a university degree
  • Have an Enhanced DBS/ be willing to obtain one
  • Be able to work Monday-Friday (term time)
  • Have a supporting and encouraging manner with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
