We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our excellent Young Person's Substance Misuse team in Stoke-on-Trent The role is community-based so access to a vehicle is preferable for this position You will play a vital part in support young people in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

You will regularly see clients in various places within the community from schools, care homes to our office This exciting role is an opportunity to join Stoke's Young Persons' service.

You will work predominantly with young people who are aged between years and are using drugs and/or alcohol or at risk of doing so in the future.

Young people engaging with the service will often be experiencing complex difficulties.

These may include concerns around mental health, safeguarding, homelessness, offending and chaotic substance use. The post also provides training for other professionals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person, with a baseline knowledge of drugs and alcohol who is passionate about developing expertise in harm reduction and improving support and health outcomes for young people in Stoke-on-Trent.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and preferably experience of working with young people, particularly in the group setting.


Please note, working hours are Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
