37.5 hours per week (hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business, therefore it is expected that the successful applicant will work those hours necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the role)

The Role

Overview
As the Head of Products you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team with Pure. You will be an experience Product Manager or Senior Product Manager with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the Product offering of Pure remains competitive and look to lead on the design and deliver of new products.

The Head of Products will be the expert on all Products including criteria and features and a SME for the business on all aspects of the Pure product range.

You will support the CCO and COO on new funding onboarding and ensuring all documentation is ready for launch.
Assisting in the setting of lending forecasts, monthly targets and supporting on the business strategy.

Leading a high performing team to delivering all the product changes and needs of Pure and being the key contact for all current funding partners around Products and funding.

Key Outputs

Design and deliver product propositions
Lead new product development.
Monitor and analyse equity release market, competitors and customer needs
Own the Product Governance Policy and consumer duty for Products
Stakeholder management of Product related developments of existing funder relationships and support CCO in onboarding of new funding partners
Become the SME on all Products
Keeping abreast of all market developments.
Provide data for the lending forecasts and commercial performance
Work closely with Sales and marketing to achieve successful product launches, pricing changes and driving lending volumes.
Active member of the Senior Leadership Team
Management of the Product team (2 direct reports).

Must have experience of taking products from concept to launch, owned Product governance and understand Consumer duty.
Approachable, friendly and organised individual with a proven ability to embrace and develop a successful, performance focussed environment. Excellent motivator with the ability to drive, lead, inspire and develop a successful team.

Skills & Experience

Mandatory

Financial Services experience
Excellent and Proven Organisational and Decision-Making Skills
Ability to inspire others and an excellent Communicator with colleagues, peers and senior officers and third parties (suppliers, funders and others) at all levels.
Work at Senior Manager level or equivalent in a Products team.
Understanding of product lifecycle from concept to launch
Working or worked in a regulated environment
Analytically minded
Experience of mortgage, savings, or equity release products
