Catfoss Recruitment Ltd are currently in partnership with a well-established specialist machinery company.

Due to continued business growth, they are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor (Sales Admin) on a permanent basis to their expanding team.

Customer Service Advisor Job Description:


You will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service with the determination to expand your knowledge; you will demonstrate enthusiasm and self-motivation to excel in customer services.


  • Working closely with the Customer Service (Experience) Manager and supporting administratively where necessary.
  • Updating the Sales and Operations Plan including the processing of new orders.
  • Providing updates to customers in a professional and timely manner and demonstrate solution driven thinking to any issues that may affect delivery of specialist technical plant.
  • Organise collections and dispatches in line with the Production dispatch plan.
  • Control and administrative management of Customer build trackers, profiles, and ensuring changes to the plan are effectively communicated to the Sales team and/or escalated where necessary.
  • Asset management, as far as receipting in of stock and ensuring EPICOR shows the correct asset ID numbers etc. This will aid the invoicing process.
  • Register stock plant and organise IVAs and coordinate third party involvement.
  • General filing and administrative work such as job pack scanning.
  • Entering Sales Orders onto EPICOR from point of order to drive demand through Engineering and Purchasing.
  • Liaising with other departments and communicating effectively with production, sales, and finance.

What Do I Need?

  • Proven track record of working in the delivery of exceptional customer service with critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastchanging and flexible environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiative and astute decision making based on a plethora of business requirements.
  • Customer service skills including questioning, probing, listening, and establishing rapport.
  • Knowledge and ability to use various Ms Office Applications such as Ms outlook, Ms excel and Ms Word.
  • Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience in engineering / specialist manufacturing industry is preferable.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • A results orientated approach.
  • Sales background preferable.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 08:30am - 5:00pm (1 x 45-minute lunch break)

Friday 08:30am - 15:45pm (1 x 45-minute lunch break)
