Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Coordinator who is ready for a new challenge, to join our existing Supply Chain team in East Kilbride.

Responsibilities and duties:

Knowledge in International trade rules & regulations as well as specific Brexit regulations
Acting as main internal point of contact for specific questions regarding customs and foreign trade issues
Free Trade Agreement management
Preferential vs. nonpreferential origin determination
Tackle Master Data topics related to Customs for any system related changes/updates product classification in GTS
Interface with centralized customs broker via SAP GTS
Ensure, manage, and monitor general compliance with customs and foreign trade procedures
Coordinate with Finance, Controlling and relevant departments for compliance with all customs matters
Conduct regular spot checks of customs and foreign trade operations
Further development and participation in global projects (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana, GTS)

Required Experience and competencies:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
Excellent understanding of Import/Export legislation incl. Brexit regulations
Logistic, Customer service and Distribution knowledge
Good Microsoft Office and SAP skills, GTS module an advantage
Company/pharmaceutical knowledge is a plus
