We are currently seeking 4 x General Labourer's to join our team for an exciting 4-week project in Birmingham. As a General Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting the refurbishment of a retail store.

This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and contribute to the successful completion of a rewarding project.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with various tasks on the construction site, including but not limited to, material handling, site cleaning, and general labour duties.
  • Follow directions from the Site Manager and other tradespeople to ensure the smooth flow of work.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Support the team in achieving project milestones within the specified time frame.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:


  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Previous experience as a General Labourer in a construction setting.
  • Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual tasks.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must provide a minimum of 2 working references.

Working Hours:

The position is for daytime work, and you will be required to work 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, for the duration of the 4-week project.


Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 4 weeks


Salary:
£14.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (required)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
