COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE


Our client is a world class, Global Manufacturer, providing high quality precision components to multiple sectors including aerospace and automotive.

Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Day Shift CNC Turner Programmer / Setter Operator.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • CNC Turning / Machine Programming / Setting and Operating
  • Program using feature Cam software
  • Manufacturing components to tight tolerances
  • Operating Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines
  • Setting and operating 5 axis machines
  • Using Live Tooling for Milled features
  • Maintain and managing own supply of consumables
  • Interpreting and working to Engineering drawings

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar CNC turning and Programming / Setting and Operating role
  • Ability to program using feature Cam software
  • Ability to manufacture components to tight tolerances
  • Ability to set and operate 5 axis machines
  • Experience using Live Tooling for Milled features
  • Ability to maintain and manage your own supply of consumables
  • Must be selfmotivated, and able to work under own initiative
  • Ability to program and set Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines
  • Experience of Doosan 2100 & 2600 Twin spindle lathes would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Ability to read and program using FANUC would be an advantage

DETAILS OF PACKAGE
Circa £36,400 PA + Overtime + Competitive Benefits including above average paid holidays.


NB:
Salary review due in April, with probable increase pending.

Hours: 0700 to 1530 Monday to Thursday and 0700 till 1200 on Friday
