Rated Good by CQC, is a leading provider of nursing care in Nantwich. The home is a purpose-built facility providing up to 45 service users with person centred nursing care. The home features en-suite rooms, multiple reception spaces, landscaped gardens and the latest care equipment. Their core values are dignity, comfort, privacy, empathy and choice.
The Clinical Lead is an integral role within Social Care and assists the Care Manager with professional and administrative duties and is responsible to the Manager for the care / nursing matters in the Home whilst ensuring that the Care Manager is kept informed at all times.
In the absence of the Care Manager, the Clinical Lead is the leader and a working member of the care team and has the overall responsibility of the nursing / care management of the Home, maintenance of high standards of care and monitoring of performance of the staff.
Skills and Responsibilities
This is a key role in the organisation and is the most senior role besides the manager
You will lead the nursing team and be responsible for delivering individual care plans. And ensuring care plans meet our high clinical and compliance standards
You will deputise for the home manager and work with local health care groups and GP's in order to deliver care
You will have access to all of the support and training you need in addition to working hours available to use on training and planning the training of nurses and care staff
In the ideal scenario this role is intended to progress to senior management and to be with us over the long term.
We'll look to you to lead, support and inspire your team members, making sure your residents get the very best one-to-one care
Essential Requirements
Hold a nursing qualification
Be registered with the NMC
Be passionate about Dementia care
Have satisfactory references
Have the right to work in the UK
