As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and facilitating the learning and development of our students.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the needs of individual students.
  • Support students with their learning activities, providing guidance, and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Work with small groups or individuals to reinforce concepts, address learning difficulties, and promote progress.
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom setup, ensuring a wellorganized and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supervise students during breaks, outings, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff and participate in team meetings to discuss student progress, strategies, and interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student performance and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:


  • A passion for working with children and a genuine interest in their educational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, teachers, and parents effectively.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within a primary school setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Basic knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • A relevant educational qualification or certification is desirable but not essential.
