Senior/Lead/Principal C# Software Developer - 2 days a week in office - Up to £85,000 DOE
We are a huge Insurance company in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Product Owner to identify, produce and upgrade the product backlog.
  • Building and recording software solutions by gathering functional and non functional needs.
  • Examining and repairing code to recognize any technical or performance issues.
  • Contributing in sprint meetings, regular stand ups, attempting to increase team building, collaboration, technical knowledge as well as engineering processes.
  • Mentoring juniors in the team and sometimes taking a leadership role for some activities.

Skills

  • Exceptional knowledge of .NET & C#
  • Experience in full software development lifecycle in a commercial setting. Involved in requirements, capture and analysis, complete software design, implementation, unit testing, installation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Understanding of Solid principles as well as Agile
  • Knowledge of Software Developments tools such as version control, test automation, continuous integration and backlog management systems.
  • Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps

Desirable

  • Any knowledge with JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap or other web frameworks
  • Knowledge of the Insurance Industry
  • University degree
  • Certifications
  • SC Clearable and eligible
  • ILR or British Passport
