Head of Finance - Global Marcomms Agency - Paying £87,000 - £95,000 + Benefits
We are hiring a Head of Finance role for a fantastic large Marcomms Agency.

As part of a small Finance team, the Head of Finance will have "hands-on" responsibility for all elements of the deliverables for the UK Group entities, including review of invoices/expenses, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and departmental costs centre reports.

Specifically, we're looking for someone with a background in audit, experience in Management Reporting, UK Statutory accounts UK GAAP, including reconciliation to US GAAP, as well as expertise in Sarbanes Oxley and external audit.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for review and leading the delivery of monthly and quarterly management accounts for selected entities alongside the management reporting team, including review of supporting reconciliations and commentary and submission to group reporting system (Hyperion)
Adhoc reports and analysis for the entities in charge
Coordinating and assisting in dealing with intercompany group matching at month ends
Review and assistance in preparing commentary on variance analysis and performance reportable to company, as required
Review of additional monthly/quarterly submissions including preparation and submission of a group quarterly tax pack and internal reporting requirements (IRPs)
Review of yearend consolidated financial statements under UK GAAP, including reconciliation to US GAAP figures
Coordination of subsidiary statutory accounts preparation including review, where applicable
Acting as a point of contact for agencies as well as responding to financial inquiries from the parent company by gathering, analysing, summarizing, and interpreting data.

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Practice trained background, ideally Big4 or Top 20 trained
Will suit a qualified individual with up to 2 years of postqualified experience who is first time mover out of practice
Strong technical and analytical skills
Good working knowledge of Excel
Experience of Hyperion is beneficial but not essential
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains/365/AX or similar ERP system beneficial but not essential
Experience of working within the media & advertising Industry is not essential
