Description

This is a critical role supporting the medical director in provision of medical and dental care throughout the organisation.

It entails overseeing a team of committed individuals supporting the medical directorate providing advice and support in all aspects of the employment of doctors and dentists within the organisation including national employment legislation, support of local appraisal and revalidation processes and leading on recruitment and selection.

This is a less than full-time post, working weekdays only.

The post holder will be managing a support team comprising 4 further team members working at band 3 through to band 5 level.

The post holder will be based at trust headquarters with some activity being able to be provided through home working.

Job share arrangement for this post would be considered.
