Quality Inspector / Quality Control

Crem are happy to be working with a local engineering company who are looking to appoint a quality control inspector on a permanent basis to their expanding team in the March area.

Pay for this role = £11-£14 per hour (£ £29120 per year) depending on experience.

Hours of work = 7:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, 7:30-13:30 Friday

Job Role:

Using inspection equipment such as CMM's, Verniers, Probes, Gauges, micrometres etc
Reading engineering drawings
Visually inspecting parts
Inspecting and approving incoming materials & finished products for conformation to specification
Completing logs and reports on quality database
Completing nonconforming reports and root cause analysis
Ensuring calibration system is kept up to date

Key skills & abilities:

Keen eye for detail
Familiarity with testing equipment (CMM, Vision machines, manual measuring equipment)
Knowledge of quality control standard
Working MS office knowledge / computer literacy
