A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an efficient, organised Social Care Trainer and Assessor to join our Adult Social Care Team.
Adada Recruitment and Training Services (A.R.T.S.) are looking to recruit a Social Care Trainer and Assessor to support their head office function in Capenhurst, Chester, by delivering and coordinating the successful completion of Healthcare qualifications.
We are looking for a dynamic and independent professional with solid care and people management experience and a flexible, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude to join our fast and progressive team.
- Provide training, such as: Health and Safety | COSHH | Risk Awareness | Fire | CPR | Infection Control | Basic Food Hygiene | Moving and Assisting | First Aid at Work | Medications, Nutrition and Safeguarding | Induction and Refresher Training
- You will be responsible for keeping track of each individuals' progress and using imaginative ways to support and encourage our team and to keep them engaged and on track.
- Assist with the induction and training for new service openings.
- Assess and evaluate staff in the field in line with the Care Certificate and company competencies.
- Understand the needs of the business to ensure legal compliance training is organised and delivered cost effectively.
- Works closely with the Registered Manager to ensure thorough implementation and evaluation of the training programs.
- Manages and maintains training information on the database / system for training reporting and record maintenance.
- Carrying out of spot checks, performance checks of carers in the community
- Carrying out of care duties as required (emergency cover rotaring)
- Assisting other Care Coordinators with the day to day running of the service (administrative tasks, supervisions, development appraisals, etc.)
Experience and skills:
- Experience of designing, developing and delivering training programs.
- Critical to the post is for you to be up to date with the latest legislation and legal requirements affecting the Company and the work we carry out.
- Certification in Moving and handling, train the trainer and level 3 award in training OR
- A teaching qualification: PTTLS, AET Level 3 or higher teaching qualification
- Have a good understanding of the Care Certificate and CQC standards
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Health or Social Care sector, along with a proven track record in facilitating and delivery of training
- Must be ICT literate with good presentation skills.
- Hold full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
