About me
I am 83 year old Iranian Jewish woman living in Cambridge. I have been living in the UK for 46 years.

In 2020 I had a stroke and I lost the ability to speak English, I however can understand English well.

My Son has been looking after me for last 2 years and he is now looking to move away. I am looking for full time 24 hour care as supportive friend/live-in role. I am also looking for flexible part timer, hours to be discussed. If you can speak Persian that would be great but is not essential. The ability to drive is ideal but not essential.


Hours and Rate of Pay


Full time live-in care Self employed or employed considered Salary to be discussed If employed the post will include 5.

6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata)Flexible part time care

Hours to be discussed.

What you would be doing


Support with personal care in a dignified manor, meal preparation and cooking, maintain a daily routine for the administering of medication.

Support with every day chores, laundry maintaining the domestic environment to the required standard and shopping. Support with social and recreational outings and accompany on medical appointments. Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis. Discuss and resolve problems as they arise.

Maintain daily written records and undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope and responsibility of the job.

Needs may vary on a daily basis; therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter form the care plan. To undertake any training as appropriate for the role.


The person I would like


Someone who enjoys being active, who has the skills to give me support with building my confidence & self esteem & promoting my independence.

Some knowledge and experience with working with people with mental health issues.

You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be a good communicator and also possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.

Be hardworking, reliable, honest, and trustworthy with cheerful a sense of humour.
