Description

Excellent knowledge and hold qualifications of sports coaching, which can include 1 or all of the below;

Recognised NGB Level 1 and 2 Coaching Certificates in a variety of different sports
Level 2 / Level 3 Physical Education & School Sport Certificate
Child Protection & First Aid Certificate
Enhanced CRB clearance
Experience and knowledge of working with children & young people.
Competent in literacy & numeracy to a level 2 standard

Competency to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment;

Be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs
Set up & deliver high quality sports coaching sessions to children and young people
Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles.

Main Duties;

To deliver sport and physical activities to children and young people, in a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods.

Salary / Hours;
Part Time Hours Available - Salary depending on experience and qualifications

During School Term/Holiday Time

Location;
Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough

Skills and Experience:

Own transport and basic computer skills are required, Reliable with strong time management

Skills.

Applicants must also be self-motivated and have a passion for coaching and inspiring young people through engagement and participation in physical activity and sport.

Previous coaching in a school environment would be highly beneficial to the applicant.
