Age UK are looking for an experienced Store Manager to work in our shop in the picturesque town of Kirkbymoorside.

Our shop also has a wonderful team of volunteers to support our staff with the day-to-day duties of running the shop and prides itself withhaving good quality donations and a good range of brands in the Age UK retail network.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to handle/lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs.)

About you:

An experienced retail manager with passion to maximise shop income and promote Gift Aid to customers
Leading by example, implementing the highest standard of customer care and service
Recruiting, managing and training our supporting staff and volunteers
Ensuring all administrative and financial procedures are followed
Work closely with the Area Sales Manager
Travel within the region to provide cover in other shops or for training
Health & Safety knowledge
