Somers Town Big Local (STBL) is a resident-led community project, funded by Local Trust. We exist to connect with residents and local partners invested in making Somers Town a better place.

We utilise local knowledge and empower local residents to make the most of opportunities, in employment, training, volunteering and grants as well as the chance to develop leadership skills.

As a resident-led Partnership Board we are proudly working with CREST who are our Locally Trusted Organisation, they hold and process our grant payments and employ our valued delivery workers on our behalf.

You will build strong relationships in the community helping to establish a safer environment an carve out opportunities for residents to work, innovate and celebrate success together.

You'll have:

Proven business development experience
Experience fundraising in a community setting
An awareness of what it takes to work successfully with a diverse community
The ability to work confidently and autonomously while driving results for the wider project
Skills in building and nurturing relationships on a strategic and individual grass-roots level
Experience in providing fundraising and business support.
Bid writing skills and the ability to submit compelling tenders.
