Description
We are looking for Residential Keyworkers to join a brand-new Children's Home located in Wilmslow, Cheshire and our second home in Oldham LANCASHIRE.

Working as a Child Care Worker, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
- Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes
- Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities
- Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork
- Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development
- Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home
- Have resilience, motivation and determination
- Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
- Be inclusive to all children and young people
- Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn
- Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleepins.
Desirable:
- Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people
- Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Children's Homes
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent
Up to £32,000 per annum starting salary (for support worker and dependent on experience) + sleep in rate
Up to £34,500 per annum starting salary (for senior residential support worker and dependent on experience) + sleep in rate
Shift patter: 2on 4off
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary:
£27,000.00-£34,500.00 per year
