Salary:
£30,962 - £36,426 (depending on skills and experience)

The Opportunity
- Collect and disseminate lessons learnt and best practice from across the Networks
- Work with other Network Best Practice Manager's to share best practice
- Collate and prioritise best practice & improvement opportunities for review and sign by the Head of Energy Operations
- Champion a culture of learning and continuous improvement
- Manage the implementation of benefit realised through improvement opportunities
- Focus on problem areas providing solutions with a business case for each allowing tracking of the benefits
- Ensure change is embedded and benefits are measured as per Cadent CMF
- Innovation lead, including preparing business case for investment requirements
- Network Champion for Best Practice
- Ensure all activities are compliant with Cyber policy & procedures
- Ensure all data is captured accurately and handled/stored to comply with Cadent Policy
- Manage the team of Technical Support Administrators
Specialist Accountabilities
- To successfully Manage projects and packages of work to deliver innovative ways of working, tools and techniques into the network
- Drive practices that delivery value to both Cadent and its customers
- Work with the business to understand key strategic challenges and identify innovation areas that provide long term value aligned to operational business priorities and problems
- Work with our internal teams to understand the Network specific requirements and identify areas where best practice & innovative change can add value
- Ensure projects are managed from inception, through proof of concept to embedding across the network to time, cost and quality constraints
- Support the identification of key innovation opportunities and then to work these up with our stakeholders to assess appropriate solutions and benefits to then prepare sanction documents within a robust support process
- Work as a key member of the team to generate, select, assess, and manage best practice opportunity projects through the discovery, development, implementing and embedding stages and share across other networks
- Manage innovation projects post sanction, through design, testing and onward into the business to time, cost and quality ensuring where appropriate that quality, technical, fit for purpose solutions are delivered into the network
What You'll Bring
We're looking for individuals who hold the following skills and experience:
Qualifications
- Engineering Qualification desirable
- Change management Qualification or equivalent experience in a change role
- Innovation qualification (desired)
Practical Experience
- Change Management and Continual Improvement
- Good coaching skills
- Good communication & influencing skills
- Good problemsolving capabilities
- Good Stakeholder management with a clear understanding of the importance of stakeholder and project management principles
- Clear understanding of the network strategic ambition and areas for improvement
- Clear understanding of innovation and process improvement or change management
- Clear understanding of need for appropriate technical design decisions to be made to meet business requirements, based on operational needs
- Able to demonstrate experience of successful contribution to and/or leading significant projects within a business as Project Lead/Manager
- Experience of the operational business to demonstrate ability to consider 'operational impacts' of implementing new technologies, including identifying policy and procedural impacts
