We have a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Motor Insurance Broker/Account Handler

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, a leading player in the industry, is thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity at our Newcastle HQ.

We are currently seeking a Motor Insurance Broker/Account Handler to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

As a Motor Broking handler within our esteemed Group Motor department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to our valued clients

Your responsibilities will include:

Crafting comprehensive new business proposals and renewal schedules, while adhering to compliance manual timescales.
Proactively engaging with clients before renewal dates, offering alternative quotes where appropriate to maximise their benefits.
Managing all documentation, invoices, credit notes, and other administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless and stressfree renewal process for our clients.
Cultivating strong relationships with insurance companies, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
Operating an efficient credit control system and providing regular reports as required.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Proficiency in obtaining quotes and successfully placing business, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
Adept at building rapport and negotiating effectively, with both clients and insurers/underwriters.
Excellent organisational abilities, allowing you to manage multiple tasks with ease.
A strong work ethic, and a proactive mindset, making you an invaluable team player.
