We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to our successful Finance Team.

This is a great opportunity for an existing employee interested in a career within finance, or for someone already within the finance team who wants to develop their experience.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role calls for a reliable, articulate, and self-motivated individual, who has great attention to detail in a finance environment.


Your role will be assisting with Accounts Payable duties along with other services that we provide to the wider business.

Accounts Assistant


Location:
Formby with potential for hybrid working


Working hours:37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm


Closing date: 26/06/2023


What you will be doing:


  • Providing daily support within the Accounts Payable team including invoice processing.
  • You will process bank reconciliations and credit card payment reconciliation along with organising bank payments
  • This individual will process personal, expense claims and ensure adherence to company policies
  • Ad hoc analysis will be required alongside other tasks
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders or external insurance/third party organisations to resolve queries
  • To provide support to other areas of the finance department, particularly whilst there is a high volumes of work
  • To adhere to SLA's and KPI's set out by Management
  • To comply with any training requirements that the company set out along with attending training sessions as and when required.
  • To behave in a responsible manner at all times

What you will receive:


  • You will receive support to achieve professional qualifications. (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
You must have at least 6 months continuous employment within Acorn Insurance/Granite. You must not have any live warning, written or verbal, on file within the last 6 months. All other standard housekeeping requirements are expected such as good time keeping and attendance record.
