Description

A thriving Electrical Engineering business, who provide turnkey solutions to both the Private Network, Onshore & Offshore Wind farms and Renewable sector, are looking to hire an additional
CAD Technician & Document Controller for their busy, but dynamic team of Engineers.


As a business, they are involved in some really innovative projects, carrying out initial design and consultancy, right through to installation, commissioning and ongoing operations and maintenance.

As a
CAD Technician & Document Controller, you'll be responsible for:

  • CAD drawings
  • Liaising with Engineers regarding drawing requirements
  • Ensuring technical information is correctly interpreted onto drawings
  • Document Control of drawings produced
  • Supporting assurance and audit processes
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance procedures and company drawing standards
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, specifically:
  • The ability to create, open, edit and close complex two-dimensional drawings
  • Using additional features including cells, levels, locks, tags, snaps, models, sheets, patterns, dimensions, references, scanned images, XREF etc.
  • Experienced on Electrical Infrastructure would be preferred
