An exciting opportunity for a commercial painter (automotive) to join a thriving paint shop which preps and paints a large variety of vehicles and trailers.

This is a permanent position in a motivated and efficient team that offers progression and a secure career.

Your skills are needed to deliver an excellent service to customers that are looking for the best paint finish possible as we pride ourselves on attention to detail.

Our 30,000 state-of-the-art paint shop has four spray booths powered by eco-friendly biomass and the capacity to spray up to eight vehicles a day.

Located just 5 miles from J36 on the M1, the 75-acre site is easy to access and has free parking.

40hour week
Excellent rate of pay £16 /hour

To be successful in the role you will ideally need to:

Be experienced in working in an automotive paint shop
Be experienced in spray painting, stripping, masking, sanding, filling, priming and refitting
Have a keen eye for detail
Have an ability to prep vehicles for paint to a high standard
Recognise if a vehicle is correctly prepped and ready for paint
Be punctual and reliable
Be prepared to work with others or on your own
Have a positive attitude to work
Have an understanding of Health & Safety hazards within a paint shop
Keep all areas clean and tidy
Use own spray equipment
