Now is a really exciting time to join the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) as a Clinical lead for Building the right Support within the Learning Disability Service.
This role is lead on on the development and further implementation of the Building the right support strategy, for people with Learning Disabilities in Salford.
Experience of successful change management and delivering education and training is desirable.
The successful applicant will be Learning disability specialist and have extensive knowledge of PBS, Autism and health issues impacting on people with Learning Disabilities.
Play a leading role in service development in line with the local and national agendas, Supporting the wider team with complex case formulations and case management
The successful applicant will work closely with people supported, managers and their staff teams, carers, other health and social care professionals and partner agencies in Salford to help manage risk
To lead on Building the right support / Transforming care strategy for Salford, to lead on specific work projects that are developed in Salford as a response to Transforming care requirements.
To be successful in this role you will need to flourish when working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for service development the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service.
You will be expected to lead on for audit, policy and service development and propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the team/service where appropriate.
You'll be great at multi-tasking, have an approachable style, and be able to utilize a range of tools and techniques to support individuals and teams.

The Learning Disability Service is a well established Integrated team with a singular management structure, this role will sit in the leadership part of the service.
