About the Job
We are looking for an ambitious and resilient Business Development Manager to join our Business Growth team in Bromley.

You will be an integral part of helping both new and existing clients understand the value of R&D tax incentives, evaluating their eligibilitywhile championing us as the leading provider in all conversations.

As a key member of the team, you will use a sophisticated approach to create, manage and convert relationships through personalised outreach.


Day to day activities

  • Champion the R&D tax incentive educate potential clients on the value, it's applicability, and help businesses evaluate their eligibility
  • Plenty of daily warm leads through proven digital marketing funnels (we have too many leads to deal with)
  • Develop strong relationships with potential prospects to position British Business Funding as a premium provider
  • Proactively develop opportunities, consulting with and looping in technical colleagues appropriately
  • Work with colleagues to develop prospects from industry associations and other referral sources
  • Use Hubspot effectively to manage your relationships and prospects pipeline
  • Maintain consistently high standards of professional conduct, communication and behaviour
  • Share sales best practice, knowledge and experience with the wider team, helping to build skills and experience for team success
  • Client base across UK
  • Deliver £500,000 of business a year
  • Have 3+ years' experience in a fastpaced B2B relationship development, business development or account management role
  • Have experience in, or working with, businesses in industries such as fintech, SaaS, engineering, professional services or a tech startup
  • Demonstrate success in delivering against KPI's and targets
  • Have experience of using a CRM such as Hubspot or Salesforce
  • Be entrepreneurial, ambitious and resilient
  • Have a passion for innovation and for representing a high value service to clients
  • Have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with Csuite individuals and the ability to adapt to different audiences/preferences
  • Be a self starter when it comes to getting things done and solving problems
