Description

We are a successful, plant and power tool sales and hire business based in Wishaw and looking to add to our expanding team.

You will be an experienced Small Tools Fitter with a positive attitude and keen to continue learning and growing your skills, experience and qualifications.

The main responsibilities of the Small Tool Fitter will include;
Routine maintenance of small tools, compressors, generators

Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose

Fault Finding Inspections

PDI on all sales and hire equipment

Working with our customers and adhering to deadlines to ensure 100% satisfaction and service.

Carry out servicing and routine inspections on site or in the workshop and clean and check plant before it is used on site

Record all work carried out and order parts where required

Complete other duties when required

Key Requirements

Highly organised and methodical worker
A high level of mechanical skills
Diagnostic and faultfinding skills
To be able to work quickly to minimise delays
To be able to work alone without direct supervision, and make decisions
To be aware of risks and to follow safety procedures
To communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers.
A full UK Driving Licence

Salary:
£28,639.00-£32,099.00 per year
