Seol + Gold is a fine jewellery brand that blends luxury with fun, for jewellery that you'll love and will last.

We're all about stacking and layering, which is why we've created products that are affordable so you can buy a whole look rather than just one or two pieces.

We have no time for jewellery that's going to turn your neck green or give a reaction, so we only make jewellery in 9ct Gold, Sterling Silver or 18ct Gold Vermeil (all of which is nickel, lead and cadmium free).

Established in 2016, Seol + Gold has grown online as a go-to brand for fine but affordable jewellery.

And after 5 years of living our best lives online, customers can now shop with us IRL at Boxpark Shoreditch.

We are bringing the fun of the brand to life with in-store events and perks for everyone to get involved with.

It's an exciting time at S+G as we will be soon opening a store in Brighton, a loyalty program, as well as dropping lots of new launches over the coming months.

We love jewellery, we think of it as an extension of who we are so we know how important it is to create pieces for everyday wear but that will last.

The Role:

We are seeking an E-commerce, Marketing and Content intern to support a wide and varied number of tasks and projects.

Whilst you are with us you will gain experience in various marketing activities across the digital, e-commerce and retail spectrum.

The role is a varied role and will best suit someone who is organised, fun, creative and that loves both fashion and jewellery.

You will be assisting mainly with our Marketing, Brand and operations leads and contributing creative ideas to help promote the brand with a wide range of projects such as newsletters, website marketing, social media, launch events etc.

We are a small team so you will have a big impact on the brand image and the opportunity to work with a wide range of projects depending on your skills and areas of interest.

Content and social

• You will have the opportunity to create exciting and engaging content for both our website and our social media channels.
• Assist with creative planning of social media and brand shoots
• Assist with content creation for Reels, Tik Toks and IG Stories
• Our interns get the chance to attend and often assist on set at our UK photoshoots too; this is super fun and great for anyone with a creative flare.
• For you to lead on your own project to review content on older website listings to see whether they would benefit from a creative refresh, new model image etc.
• Pulling products for shoots
• Putting away stock from shoots
• Stay uptodate on fashion and social media trends and develop current, relevant content ideas

E-Commerce

• You help with the content of our websites such as product uploads, product descriptions and product updates.
• Work with team to create new products and collections across website, Etsy,
• Ensure products are visible in all relevant collections, filters and categories, adding labels to products when necessary.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs to highlight user journey issues, checking images, copy, checkout process, site messaging, pricing.
• Run and manage the S+G Depop
• Updating product listings and catalogs on existing and new social channels such as Instagram Shopping/Pinterest/Tik Tok

Marketing, PR, Events

• Various marketing support ad hoc tasks
• Assisting with sales at events and liaising with customers
• Assisting with preparation for events
• Assisting in various digital marketing projects (Loyalty Program, E-Mail Marketing etc.)
• Conduct competitor analysis of brand adjacencies and inspirational brands to regularly monitor content and trends across the market.
• Assisting with PR call ins and send outs
• Assisting with influencer outreach by researching suitable influencers and content creators.

Requirements:

• Experience in content creation for social media would be beneficial
• Have a good understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Tok Tok)
• Be creative and happy to put forward ideas for posts, campaigns and more
• Know how to use Canva, Photoshop or something similar would be beneficial
• Dedication, focus and good time management are important
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive, enthusiastic and cando attitude
• You love working handson and focus on executing tasks
• You can work independently, yet you are still a team player
• You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and Google tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
• You are structured and proactive and have an eye for details

The position is based in Hastings and involves occasional travel outside of Hastings for events for a period of 1-4 days depending on length of event.

The internship hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Thursday in our Hastings Office for 3 months
