Description
You'll be working alongside the Finance team to support the accounting functions across this growing business - in fact, they are so busy, they would like an additional pair of numerical hands.
Duties will include:
- Answering accounts calls and associated administration
- Posting purchase invoices
- Hire contract management
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assist with the processing of purchase orders
- Match delivery notes to purchase invoices and obtain payment authorisations
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile monthly supplier statements
- Filing all invoices
- Answering general calls and forwarding enquiries to relevant business area
- Assisting with the specialist software (training provided, of course)
- Ad hoc support on various projects as they arise
What you'll need to bring:
- An amiable, friendly and upbeat personality
- Energy, drive and focus results orientated
- Influence and persuasiveness (but not too pushy)
- Tenacity and resilience (don't we all though...)
- A positive contribution towards a professional and congenial workplace
- Your own transport as the business is located rurally in the Suffolk countryside
Experience:
- You'll need to have experience within an accounts or finance admin position and be confident using Microsoft Office, with Sage 50 an extra advantage
- Practiced working alongside a varying array of clients, suppliers and colleagues
