You'll be working alongside the Finance team to support the accounting functions across this growing business - in fact, they are so busy, they would like an additional pair of numerical hands.


Duties will include:

  • Answering accounts calls and associated administration
  • Posting purchase invoices
  • Hire contract management
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assist with the processing of purchase orders
  • Match delivery notes to purchase invoices and obtain payment authorisations
  • Process supplier invoices and reconcile monthly supplier statements
  • Filing all invoices
  • Answering general calls and forwarding enquiries to relevant business area
  • Assisting with the specialist software (training provided, of course)
  • Ad hoc support on various projects as they arise

What you'll need to bring:

  • An amiable, friendly and upbeat personality
  • Energy, drive and focus results orientated
  • Influence and persuasiveness (but not too pushy)
  • Tenacity and resilience (don't we all though...)
  • A positive contribution towards a professional and congenial workplace
  • Your own transport as the business is located rurally in the Suffolk countryside

Experience:


  • You'll need to have experience within an accounts or finance admin position and be confident using Microsoft Office, with Sage 50 an extra advantage
  • Practiced working alongside a varying array of clients, suppliers and colleagues
