Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a
Communications Officer - Digital to join our team in
London, UK.

The Communications Officer will play a key role within the External Relations (ER) team to manage the organisation's public digital channels, supporting in the creation of messaging to promote a strong public profile for Malaria Consortium to a diverse range of audiences including donors, potential donors, national and local media, governments, academia and the general public in the UK, Europe and globally.

Relevant experience in digital communications, ideally in an NGO or similar organisation
Excellent knowledge of maintaining and developing a website CMS (Content Management System)
Experience in managing and growing social media channels for an organisation, including content planning, posting, engagement, analytics and paid spend and how these integrate with wider communications and fundraising campaigns
Good knowledge of international development issues and associated stakeholders
Excellent understanding of public outreach through online platforms
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving digital trends and technologies, and a proactive approach to exploring innovative communication methods
Ability to tailor writing towards different audiences
Understanding of compliance requirements related to digital communication, and a commitment to upholding organisational brand guidelines and standards.
Good planning skills and ability to multitask and manage a heavy workload
Proven team skills, including flexibility and enthusiasm
