Team Leader
Location:
Walton on the hill
Hours: 2 x afternoon/ nights a week and alternate Saturdays - 41 hrs per week
Pay:
£18-£20
Core hours on a rota basis: 4pm-9am Monday and Tuesday (including sleepin nights) plus alternate Saturdays 9am-9pm
Personal Care Involved
Full training given
Essential Criteria:
Driver
Experience as a team leader or senior support worker
Experience with children with disabilities
Experience with PEG
Background:
*Harry is a 15 year old boy who lives at home with his family. He is a friendly, welcoming, and well-loved member of the family and at school where he attends 48 weeks a year. *Harry sustained a traumatic brain injury resulting in physical and learning disabilities, he has a range of health needs and requires support with all aspects of his life
His ideal team leader will enjoy music as *Harry loves his music with a good bass, spending time in his sensory room, cause and effect toys especially his vibrating snake.
The team leader duties are varied and include:
- Leading and supporting a team of 3 permanent support workers and a bank support worker
- Support within his own home
- Personal and hygiene care.
- Working closely with the case manager, family and therapists
- Therapy activities as set out by his therapists
- Record keeping

£18.00-£20.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Reigate: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Senior or team leader: 1 year (required)
- Working with children with disabilities: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)

- United Kingdom (required)
