This is an exciting opportunity to join our established and expanding Mental Health Support Team service hosted within CAMHS, as a joint initiative between health and education.

The Mental Health Support Teams began as a 'Trailblazer' project (proud to be the first site nationally to go live in December We continue to grow and expand across all localities Countywide, offering and providing services to partner schools and education providers.


MHST is an early intervention wellbeing service aimed at providing support for children young people and families around low-level emotional wellbeing needs, such as anxiety, low mood, managing emotions, and sleep.

We link in directly with Nottinghamshire CAMHS teams and provide 'in school' sessions to promote a positive mental health.


We are seeking an Admin Team Leader with relevant admin experience to coordinate and lead the admin team who support the MHST clinical team.


The post will be responsible for the day-to-day support and supervision of admin staff in the CAMHS MHST Team to ensure an excellent administrative support is provided for the clinical staff.


You will have the following:

Possess a recognised supervisory management qualification to BTEC level or equivalent.

Educated to NVQ Level 4 standard or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.

Significant experience in a recent similar role, including the supervision of staff.

Extensive working experience of MS packages

Knowledge of procedures in relation to providing a safe working environment

Working knowledge of patient information systems

Working with mínimal supervision and using own initiative

Excellent communication skills, with staff at all levels, patients and outside agencies

Excellent organisational skills, office management and the ability to prioritise and work to set timescales

You will work under the direct supervision of the Admin Support Manager

The post holder is required to provide a lead role with responsibility for the day-to-day management of administration and secretarial staff.

Co-ordinating an efficient and effective administration and secretarial service.

The MHST cover the whole county of Nottinghamshire and have bases within Mansfield, and Nottingham, the main base for the team is at Highbury Hospital, Nottingham, NG6 9DR.

To ensure that data quality and timelines meet Trust and CQUIN targets.


Close liaison with Contractors, Trust Estates, IT, Procurement and Support Services Departments to ensure that the site is managed effectively and efficiently.


To manage the Health and Safety Workbook under the provision of the Trust's Health and Safety policy in relation to admin staff and site common areas.

This role requires an experienced individual, with qualifications and previous experience in the day-to-day management of staff. The post holder will have excellent communication and organisational skills and have working experience of site management.
