Technical Delivery Manager | 6-12 Months | Outside IR35 | £450p/d | Surrey (one day per week)

My client is a leader in it's space who are currently on the search for a Technical Delivery Manger for an initial 6 month contract which will be outside IR35.

The role will require 1/2 days of work on-site in their office in Surrey.

- you are required to be based in the UK for this role.


The role:


  • Act as Scrum Master in multiple projects under our AWS Cloud Migration Programme.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to work on the finally produced requirements for engineering estimation and planning.
  • Plan, Estimate, Track and Manage end to end delivery of projects as per agreed time/budget/quality targets in Eseye JIRA Product Development tool
  • Identify risks and mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery of Products into Production Environments.
  • Be a change agent and improve delivery processes, contribute to tool consolidations and Knowledge Management.
  • Deliver projects with a variety of resourcing options (Insourced/outsourced) and contracts (Time and Materials/Fixed Bid)
  • Contribute to the Architecture and Design of Cloud Hosted Applications.
  • Monitor KPIs and report to the Senior Management Team

Key Skills:


  • Project planning, estimating and Agile (SCRUM and SAFE) delivery.
  • Resource management, time tracking and supplier management (Time and Materials/Fixed bid).
  • Good technical / development experience (ideally having come from a development / architecture background) with solid understanding of front end, back end, and data development and solutions using modern programming languages (Python/React JS/Node JS)(required)
  • Solid technical delivery centred on public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) with a good understanding of Cloud Technology Architecture knowledge(required).
  • Experience with CI/CD in Agile Project Delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving multiple parallel Agile Scrum Projects using JIRA.
  • JIRA Agile KPI monitoring and Reporting.
  • Ability to work as part of insource/outsourced geographically distributed Teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
