About the Role:

‪This is a Waking Night Support role based within the
Salcoats area. You will play a key role in providing tailored support to individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities.

As part of this role, you would be required to work as part of a dedicated night support team, ensuring the appropriate support is given in line with risk assessments and support plans whilst also carrying out a few critical allocated tasks, such as:


  • Carry out "keeping safe checks" at regular intervals to ensure the person we support is safe and comfortable.
  • Ensure that her environment is clean and sanitary.
  • Supporting with morning and night routines.
  • You will keep written records, using IT systems as required, including but not limited to updating support plans, incident logs and health and safety records.
  • Creating a calm therapeutic environment for the people we support.
  • Helping the people we support with aspects of daily living, including personal care, feeding, meal preparation and medication assistance.
Shift patterns will be 2000hrs - 0800hrs. Full training and induction before starting is provided, along with work shadowing. You will be joining an established team who are friendly and welcoming.
