Description
Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established Precision Engineering business in their search for a CNC Miller. This is a permanent, full time position working from their state of the art facility in Ayrshire. Various shift patterns are available to best suit your work/life balance.


What's required?

  • Time served CNC Miller / Machinist
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Set, operate and program machining centres
  • Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Haas or Mazak machinery
  • Work towards continuous improvement methods in the workshop
  • Familiarity with hand tools used in machining and fabrication processes
  • Work as part of a close knit team of experienced engineers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Experience working in Oil & Gas or Aerospace

What to expect?

  • A basic salary of £18.50 and shift allowance on top giving you an hourly pay of £24.60
  • A choice of shifts to work whatever suits you best
  • Choose between working early, backshift or work a 4 day week
