McElmeel Mobility Services Ltd. are recruiting for A Compliance Officer.


The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet and exceed regulatory, statutory, customer and organisational standards, through robust quality assurance systems.

Leading the project, you will work alongside a newly created IT role to support the development & implementation of our Integrated Management System.


The role will focus on establishing quality management and guidance on all QMS & Safety, Health and Environmental (SHEQ) matters and delivering compliance for McElmeel Group of companies providing support to the leadership team by gathering and analysing quality information, programs, and initiatives.


The Compliance Officer will work alongside the General Manager to prioritise and project manage, all associated areas of governance that are required in having a working Integrated Management System.


Responsibilities include:


  • Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of the McElmeel management systems ensuring the company's statutory and contractual duties are fulfilled and exceeded.
  • To adhere to and develop internal policies, risk frameworks, industry compliance and other requirements.
  • Establish and integrate SHQ standards involving operations.
  • Support Systems Manager to manage and maintain SHEQ data collection, process analysis, measurements, reporting and suggestions for improvement, across Operations & Personnel.
  • Evaluate product quality through routine product scores and trend analysis.
  • Ensure Safe working standards are in place.
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance plans are in place for tools, equipment & facilities.
  • Ensure Fire Marshalling, COSSH and Plant, Parts & Equipment storage are all compliant.
  • Oversee customer complaint analysis and introduce problem resolving solutions.
  • Supervise key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage KPIs based meetings to ensure quality focus, streamline and measure results for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and conduct plant staff training on quality principles.
  • Identify opportunities areas to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Help and support customer as well as employee satisfaction study and improvement.
  • Design, develop and maintain quality control goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate established objectives with production methods cooperating plant manager to increase product reliability and reduce costs.
  • Plan, promote and arrange training activities associated with product quality and reliability.
  • Manage customer corrective activities to ensure thorough and timely response.
  • Develop and implement achievement strategy for "0′ customer complaints.
  • Perform key contact point for customers on quality issues.
  • To identify themes of process and system issues that are creating high volumes of queries
  • Ensure systems and services are monitored, audited, and reviewed in order to continually improve quality and outcomes for our customers.
  • To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required to ensure successful delivery of all ongoing works and contracts within the McElmeel workstream.
  • 2+ years relevant experience in a similar role,
  • Third level or equivalent relevant qualification,
  • Experience in working with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001,
  • Knowledge of industry practices and professional standards,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Extremely selfmotivated,
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
