Purpose of the role:

To ensure daily delivery of the production volume targets within the designation sub assembly process area. To implement and manage basic production KPI's,5s, continuous process improvements, safety adherence and people management.


Key responsibilities:


  • Operational target delivery
  • Safety, Quality & Process management
  • Update Head of Manufacturing on output vs target and build status.
  • Implement and manage skills matrix to ensure diversity of skill sets within the workforce.
  • First line people management and enforcement of HR processes

Skills & experience:


  • Team leading / people management.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience of manual, bespoke build environment
  • Familiarity with production process flows and value engineering.
  • Post school academic attainment such as NVQ / full apprenticeship

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £32,000.00 per year
