Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and support to individuals in need, including seniors, patients, and children
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship to promote emotional wellbeing
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment

Skills:


  • Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
  • Proficient in meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met
  • Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and practices
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care with empathy and respect
  • Familiarity with senior care principles and best practices
  • Competent in medication administration and adherence to prescribed schedules
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for the position) and access to own vehicle
  • Experience in childcare or working with children is a plus

Qualification Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
