MET Technician

PAYE Rate:
£ £18.00p/h

The Role:

As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Stripping and fitting vehicles before and after repair
  • Checking new parts list whilst stripping
  • Reading methods when unsure of correct procedure
  • Reporting extra parts needed to Workshop Controller/Estimator
  • Complete check sheet at each stage
  • Aircon regas (trained persons only)
  • Light alignment
  • Checking locks, lights and electrics as per the quality check sheet
  • Report to the Workshop Controller if the warning light is on
  • Cleaning up work/storage area
  • Ensuring that plant and equipment is working correctly. Any faults found, immediately inform management of findings

What kind of person we are looking for?:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player
