An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acute Care Team within Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust.


Based at either Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby and Scunthorpe General Hospital, we are looking to recruit a Trust Grade CT Level to join our existing team within the Acute Medicine Department.

The advertised full-time post of Trust Grade (CT) includes full on-call rota.

Please be aware that all new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check, if it is required for their role.


  • Undertake a daily ward round of the allocated bed base
  • Review all new medical admissions when rostered within the timeframe of the operational standard for the AAU until patients are either discharged from AAU or transferred to the specialty ward.
  • Manage short stay acute medical admissions
  • Deliver effective, safe, and timely care in line with the operating standards of the AAU
  • Ensure appropriate handover of care at the end of a shift to the next responsible clinicians.
  • Ensure timely completion of all documentation pertinent to an admission, transfer, discharge, or death, in line with hospital standards.
