Pure are currently recruiting for a part time Finance and Operations Manager for a growing business based on the outskirts of Cambridge in Waterbeach.

They are the UK's leading outsourced, specialist VAT advisory organisation and are entering into an excitingperiod of growth.

As the Finance and Operations Manager this role will report into the COO and will be tasked with ensuring the efficient and effective running of the finance, IT, HR and health and safety framework of the business.

The main duties of the role are as follows

  • Develop and implement all financial modelling, forecasting and reporting
  • Lead the management accounting and year end accounting processes
  • Proactively monitoring and planning of all cashflow including a short, medium and long term strategy.
  • Responsible for outsourced payroll and pensions process
  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met including VAT and corporation tax returns
  • Report on the financial position of the business to the senior leadership team
  • Create and maintain budgets for all corporate services
  • Oversee management of IT and HR functions, working with the outsourced provider
  • Responsibility for ensuring all corporate policies and procedures are up to date and in line with business needs.
  • Management of the office lease and associated insurance and overall health and safety.


You will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated team member with a hands on approach, you must be a natural leader who is able to lead, motivate and thrive under pressure.

It is essential that you have proven experience in the above mentioned finance dutiesand ideally have supported the wider operations of a growing company.
