We are passionate about our products and aim to put the customer at the heart of everything we do. We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team in Hull.


Purpose of the Role:


Supervise a quality assurance team to verify that all raw materials, packaging, and finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation, and customer requirements.

The Senior QA should drive quality culture, and good manufacturing standards within the zone.


Principle Accountabilities

  • Manage, motivate and develop the team, through active leadership and empowerment.
  • Achieve the intake of products which meet the required quality standards at all times.
  • Assist Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Management system, audits and test schedules.
  • Manage and compile concession, rejection and hold data.
  • Manage daily taste panels.
  • Effectively liaise with other internal departments.
  • Be proactive at all times and ensure compliance of all Company Policies and Procedures, taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • To promote good working practices and procedures.
  • Deputise for Quality Assurance Raw Materials Coordinator.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A positive, cando attitude and the ability to work to deadline in a demanding environment.
  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions & specifications.
  • Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 HACCP with aspirations for Level
  • Experience of microbiological and product sampling.
  • Knowledge of calibration procedures and techniques.
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a technical capacity.
  • Experience of auditing, whilst not being afraid to challenge the status quo.
