Our client, a leading IT Managed Service Provider, are currently looking to recruit a Linux Engineer to join their expert infrastructure team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist Linux Engineer to have autonomy in a fast-paced environment, workingon some of the latest technologies.

Salary - £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + package

Location - Bristol (fully onsite)


The Role

  • Ensure smooth running and troubleshooting of the Linux estate
  • You will be operating at a 3rd line level dealing with escalations from 1st and 2nd line teams, and will need to take ownership of issues, troubleshoot, and provide solutions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working in a Linux environment as an engineer, administrator, or similar
  • RedHat knowledge
  • Web server technologies (Apache, Tomcat, Nginx)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Wider general experience of software and hardware fault resolution
