My client a public sector organisation based in London have an exciting role for an Interim change manager for 6 months, this role is paying £500 per day through Umbrella and is hybrid working with one day a week ideally in central London office.

Role purpose

To review the impact of all Programme, Change on Operations, develop a roadmap aligned with the digital and technology delivery roadmap and other change delivery, and set up processes to manage change which then become business-as-usual.

This interim role,to start asap, will enable to prepare adequately for significant operational change expected next financial year, and help to embed the newly established processes.


  • Conduct review and impact assessment of all Programme Change on Operations. Output should be a delivery roadmap.
  • Create and evaluate an "airtraffic control" capacity model on which incoming demand can be triaged against. Resource constraints and requirements, management overheads, change capacity considered.
  • A pipeline of outgoing demand from Operations produced
  • Process, ceremonies, and governance designed, implemented, and adopted to manage demand, impact assessment, and change reviews.

EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

Essential:


  • Experience of supporting people and organisations through change processes, with a strong understanding of the importance of support, development, and motivation of staff.
  • Experience of motivating others in the context of business change
  • Indepth knowledge and experience of change management principles, techniques, and practice
  • Experience of working in crossfunctional teams delivering to organisational priorities
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced customer facing role, ideally in a similar guidance or advice setting or organisation with similar values, aims and principles.
  • Ability and experience of giving and receiving feedback objectively and sensitively and an ability to challenge constructively.
  • Accustomed to and confident in working with a range of digital and communications technologies.
  • Experience of effectively identifying, using, and working with data from a range of sources to identify opportunities for development, performance issues and trends.
  • Experience of developing operational and assurance plans and policies, with ability to report and provide assurance as appropriate up to executive level.
  • Experience of working with project and programme teams and structures.
  • Excellent written and numeracy skills.

Desirable:


  • Change management and project management qualifications (e.g., PROSCI, PMI, APMG) or equivalent in related areas desirable but not essential.
