Project Manager - Pharmaceutical CRO

Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical CRO based in Oxfordshire and is now looking for an experienced Project Manager to work alongside Technical Managers in the leadership and management of Pharmaceutical development projects.

This is a non-laboratory role and requires previous Project Management experience and training.


The role:


As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the engagement with multiple client projects and support of the technical management team with effective leadership and management of complex projects across multiple business lines and sites.


The role requires:

  • Coordination across various departments including sales, client services, EHS and quality teams to ensure excellent client service.
  • Engage with client and internal teams to define timelines, tracking systems, budget management and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project planes and timeline delivery
  • Act as primary contact for client to provide updates and performance reports

Experience expectations:

Suitable applicants will have;

  • Previous experience in a project management role within the Pharmaceutical sector
  • Good knowledge of contract development within pharmaceutical or biotech industries
  • Significant industry experience within a cGMP environment
  • Project Management training i.e PRINCE
  • Experience delivering on multistage projects including timelines definition and budgets
  • Excellent communication skills and evidence of client management and interaction
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant Chemistry or Life Science qualification (or equivalent)
